Speaker.

Award-winning journalist.

Co-pilot.

I spent 20+ years as the face people trusted to deliver the news. Then I made the boldest move of my career - I walked away.

Today, I host Unscripted Turbulence - the podcast for anyone standing at the edge of a big life change, wondering if they have what it takes to jump.

I didn’t walk away because it was easy. I left because it was necessary.

I started my TV journey in Allentown, PA - at Service Electric TV2 News, a local cable station covering the Lehigh Valley and a slice of the Poconos. Reporter. Anchor. Editor.

From there, I went to WETM 18 News, in Elmira, NY. This is where I learned the only thing that ever mattered: how to tell the truth and make a stranger feel it. Started as reporter, ended as main anchor.

WNEP Newswatch 16 in Scranton, PA was next as the Poconos Bureau Reporter. Offered to become anchor, turned it down. I felt the stronger reporter you are, the greater anchor you’ll be.

Catapulted to The Weather Channel as the Northeast Correspondent, based in New York City. When needed, I’d head to Atlanta, GA to anchor the shows.

A quick stop at CBS2 New York, where I reported, covered traffic, weather, and dabbled in some radio at WCBS-FM.

Landed at FOX5 New York. Reported, anchored and went back to school - earning my Meteorology stripes at Penn State University’s Online World Campus Program. Joined the FOX5 Weather Team.

Which lead me to my final destination: WABC, Channel 7 Eyewitness News. The #1 station in New York City, and by default, the country. Hired as meteorologist and reporter. I felt like I was finally home. I was going to retire here.

The part I didn't see coming.

Spoiler : you do.

I started getting passed over, pushed aside. I started speaking up. I asked what more is needed of me to prove myself, until I realized I have. I started saying no. I started realizing my worth. I saw what I could accomplish when I put effort into something after I finished my first marathon - the New York City Marathon - in 4:19:35. A nagging question about how I’m spending my time surfaced. Frustration over the years of effort I’m putting into the News marathon and wondering, “Where’s my medal?”.

April 1, 2025. I made the bold decision to sign off…for the final time. Yes, at THE BEST NEWS STATION IN THE COUNTRY. I couldn’t pour anymore of my time, effort, and experience into something I had believed in - yet it didn’t recognize my worth.

When I walked away, I didn't expect the messages.

"When did you know it was time?"
"You gave me the courage to leave, too."
"You made me feel like I'm allowed to want more."

They come from people I know and others I've never met - standing at the edge of their own leap, wondering if they're allowed to take it.

It's about all of us learning to trust our gut that's been whispering

there's more...

I help people stop waiting for permission and start living the life they actually want - on their own terms, unscripted.

My audience spans 160,000+ people across platforms. My story resonates because it's real. My voice is trusted because it was trained in the most demanding newsrooms in the country. And my message hits because I lived it first.
